Porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus antigen rapid test card

1. Principle
This test card uses colloidal gold immunochromatography technology, after the sample is added to the sampling well, it moves along the chromatographic membrane with the colloidal gold label. If there is porcine infectious gastroenteritis virus in the sample, it binds to the colloidal gold label and the antibody on the T line, displaying a purple red color. If there is no porcine infectious gastroenteritis virus, then no color.

4. Operation procedures
1) Collect an appropriate amount of newly excreted fecal sample with a cotton swab.
2) Insert the cotton swab into the tube including sample buffer, repeatedly rotate and squeeze the swab on the tube wall with force for at least 10 times, and mix the solution to dissolve the specimen as much as possible in the solution. Discard the cotton swab, tighten the bottle cap, and shake well.
3) Take out test card, put it flatly, making mark.
4) Use dropper to absorb the sample, drop 2~3 drops into well mark “S” drop by drop vertically and slowly.
5) Read the results in 10-15min at room temperature. Result out of 15mins is invalid.
5. Results
Negative(-): no color reaction on Test Line (T Line),only on Control Line(C Line) being seen red color reaction.
Positive(+): Both on T Line and C line being seen red color reaction.
Invalid: No color reaction on C Line.
6. Diagnostic reference
If the test result is positive, it indicates that the animal may be infected with Porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus.
7. Limitation
The test card is for screening only, not used as a basis for diagnosis
8. Notice
1) Read the manual carefully before testing, the sample buffer provided inside the kit is for this testing only.
2) Do not use water or other animal serum etc. [Non-sample requirement] liquid as Negative control.
3) The collected sample should be tested immediately, avoid long-term storage.
4) The collection of sample affects the accuracy directly, make sure accurate and sufficient sample collection.
5) Do not use product out of date or broken package of aluminum foil bag.
6) Return test card to room temperature if store in cold before opening package, use the test card as soon as possible after opening aluminum foil bag, the test card may become invalid after getting moisture.
7) Do not touch the white membrane surface in the middle of test card and sample pad at “S” well zone.
8) The waste from the experiment should be treated as pollutants and properly disposed of in accordance with local regulations
9.Storage and expiry date
Storage: Store at 2-30 ℃ in dark, sealed, dry place, no frozen.
Expiry date: 24 months; date of production is on box.
