Porcine Circovirus (PCV2) Antibody Rapid Test Card
Catalog No. LSY-20013
1. Principle
This test strip is based on colloidal gold immuno-chromatography technique to detect Porcine Circovirus (PCV2) antibody in porcine serum qualitatively. Porcine Circovirus antigen is coated onto a nitrocellulose membrane and reacts with colloidal gold immunoconjugate labeled to detect Porcine Circovirus antibodies in the sample. During testing, if the sample contains PCV2 Ab, the T line will display red; if the sample does not contain PCV2 Ab, the T line will not show color. C line appears, means the test is valid.
2. Specifications: 40 tests/kit
3. Components
1) PCV2 antibody test card 40 pieces
2) Dropper 40 pieces
3) Color Comparison Card 1 piece
4) 1.5ml centrifuge tube 40 pieces
5) Manual 1 piece
4. Operation procedures
1) Collect 1ml blood, centrifuge at 3000r/min, get the serum for testing;
(If the sample cannot be tested immediately, it should be refrigerated. If stored for more than 24 hours, it should be frozen.)
1) Read the manual carefully and return the unsealed test card and sample to room temperature before use.
2) Place the test card horizontally, use dropper to absorb the sample, slowly add 1–2 drops of bubble-free test solution into well mark “S”.
3) After 20 minutes, compare the color intensity of the test card in the observation part with the Color Comparison Card to determine the antibody level.
5. Results
1) When the color intensity of the T line ≥ the 1:40 (titer) position on the Color Comparision Card, the titer of Porcine Circovirus antibodies in the sample is high;
2) When the color intensity of the T line < the 1:40 (titer) position on the Color Comparision Card, the titer of Porcine Circovirus antibodies in the sample is low, insufficient to resist the viral attack of Porcine Circovirus;
3) If no distinct T line is observed, it suggests that the sample may not contain Porcine Circovirus antibodies;
4) If the T line exhibits an unusually dark color, the tested swine may have been infected with a virus strain even if it has been vaccinated.
6. Notice
1) The test card can be used only once at room temperature, avoid direct sunlight. Do not reuse or use test card out of expiry date.
2) Return all reagents and sample into room temperature before use.
3) The test card must be used within one hour of opening.
4) Be careful when prepare sample, wear glove and mask.
5) This product is only for in vitro rapid diagnostic veterinary use, only for qualitative testing.
6) Do not use tap water, purified water, etc., as negative controls.
7) Do not use if the sealed bag is damaged.
8) Do not use reagents not provided with this product.
9) Do not use samples that are spoiled, have solid precipitates, or show hemolysis as test subjects.
10) Test samples may be potentially infectious. Samples and used reagents should be handled as microbiological hazardous materials.
