6. Principle

The colloidal gold immuno-chromatography was used to detect the Beta-Lactams antibiotic residue in the samples. The binding of Beta-Lactams to the specific monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold inhibited the binding of the antibody to the conjugates of Beta-Lactams -BSA on the NC membrane Testing line, which resulted in the color depth variation of the testing line.

7. Testing equipment required

Instruments: electronic balance, centrifuge, micropipette, vortex oscillator, homogenizer.

Consumables: 50ml centrifuge tube, disposable tips

8. Sample Processing

Weigh 3g ± 0.05g of tissue (homogenized by cutting), add 3ml of Sample extracting buffer, shake for 3 minutes, centrifuge at 4000r/min for 5 minutes, and take the supernatant for testing.

9. Operation procedures

1). Please read the instruction manual carefully before use. Before use, restore this test card and the sample to room temperature.

2). Take out the required number of test cards and mark them properly. Please use it as soon as possible within 1 hour.

3). Place the test card flatly and use a disposable dropper to vertically drip 3 drops (or use a micropipette to transfer 80 μl) of the sample into the sampling well.

4). Observe the results after allowing the reaction to stand for 5-8 minutes.

5). Read the results within 1 minute according to the schematic diagram, and other times are invalid.

12. Precautions

1). The test card is disposable at room temperature; Do not use expired test cards.

2). Disposable tips cannot be reused to avoid cross contamination.

3). Try not to touch the white film surface in the center of the test card during use; Avoid direct sunlight and direct fan blowing.

4). Tap water, distilled water, or deionized water cannot be used as negative controls.

5). If a positive result appears, it is recommended to use this test card for retesting.

6). Due to differences in samples, some test lines may appear lighter or grayish in color, but as long as a red band appears, it can be determined.

13. Safety performance and garbage disposal

This product's test cards and packaging are non-toxic and harmless. After use, they should be disposed of as dry waste. Tissue samples to be treated as wet garbage.

14. Storage and expiry date

Storage: Store at 4～30℃ in sealed, dry, and dark place, no frozen.

Expiry date: 12 months; date of production is on box.
